My name is Sean Kienle.  I have been designing things since I was old enough to snap together two Lego blocks. Now, I work as a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer, and I create laboratory instruments for the in-vitro diagnostic and medical device markets. I gain immense satisfaction from seeing a design that I developed go from a model on a computer screen to a manufactured product. I have taken multiple projects from a sketch on a napkin to a commercial product.

Two of my greatest strengths are my critical thinking and problem solving skills. I am excellent at looking at a problem from different angles and devising a solution. Whether I am designing a Real-Time PCR System or working in the garage, I strive to bring a degree of creativity and innovation to all of my projects.

In my 10+ years of experience, I have overseen the design and assembly of more than 15 complex, electro-mechanical instruments. I am equally comfortable working behind a desk or out on the shop floor and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty.  For a complete list of my accomplishments, take a look at my resume.

If your organization is looking for an engineer who can take your product from a doodle to realization, we should talk.
